Here at Huckleberry Labradors, we only breed 1-2 litters per year at the very most. Our puppies are raised within our home..actually right in our kitchen. They are part of our everyday activities until they leave with their new families.  We breed first and foremost for ourselves. We typically keep 1-2 puppies per litter to carry on our bloodlines. There are times that one of those keeper puppies becomes available when they are a little bit older. There is NOTHING wrong with that puppy! Actually, they are one of the BEST puppies from the litter, plus they go to their new homes up to date on shots, microchipped, crate trained, socialized, leash trained, and potty trained. We just cannot keep everything! We like to keep our dog numbers low, so we can give all of our animals the attention they deserve.

When picking puppies for families; we do take in consideration your thoughts after you come and meet the litter of puppies and their mama. However, we have raised these puppies for the first 8 weeks of their lives  and we know each puppy very well. We have been placing puppies for many years with their families and haven't had a single puppy returned. It is something we take very seriously! A puppy/dog is a lifetime commitment and we want to set all of our puppies up for a lifetime of success.

If a Huckleberry puppy sounds like a good fit for you and your family, please fill out our PUPPY APPLICATION and email it back to us. This application gives us an idea of what you are looking for in a puppy.

Take a look at our UPCOMING LITTER  and PUPPY PICTURE pages to see what happening!!!
